Well I finally get my board after the several months wait and can’t get it to connect to the app. I’ve tried multiple things to remedy. I’ve tried restarting phone, deleting app and reinstalled. Logging out and back into app. Tried from my IPad and no connection. While powering on board I looked on phone Bluetooth and nothing new appeared. I’ve even had my wife create an account and login and try to connect that way. No connection. I’ve even tried to put the board in to update mode by pressing a piece on square a1, then b1, then c1 still no connection. Then I try the support on app and they are only available from 4:00 am to 12:00pm my time. So here I am with a real expensive chess board that is no different than my other $20 dollar board from amazon. If the square off developers had any intelligence at all they would make a sequence to force Bluetooth pairing. They would also use the lights and sounds emitted from the board to allow troubleshooting. For instance the power button led could blink blue letting the person know that Bluetooth is in pairing mode then go solid once paired, I have $5 dollar Bluetooth speakers that do that much . It doesn’t even have to be blue they could use the red. That doesn’t even cover what they could do with beep sequences and post those somewhere for troubleshooting, especially with the support hours they have available.
