asim Yes that would be amazing. Was about to ask the same myself. In the past, I have the board on work desk and it had been a good way to take a break between work tasks or while waiting for email to load/ code to compile etc. Individual games are too long though, so the idea wasn’t really practical. Esp if one accidentally shut off the app and then the game would have to be restarted. Thus, in the end, I find that chess applications are much more practical.
If one could solve a puzzle, get back to work, and come back to another puzzle arranged, that would be a massive increase in the use-value of the board.
As such a self-arranging board would be an AMAZING feature, although I’m not sure how the board can arrange the pieces for me - esp. since I have a Kingdom set. With that said, if the board doesn’t self-arrange, perhaps it might as well be replaced by a chess puzzle app again.
