How do you put the board into Bluetooth pairing mode?

I can’t connect any device to the board with bluetooth, anyone know how to put it into pairing mode?

Hey cpuchess
Follow these steps to connect to Bluetooth:

Close the Square Off app, turn on the chessboard, it will beep thrice.
Take the pawn, and put it on square “a1” on the chessboard top surface.
Press and release immediately on square “a1”.
Mechanism inside the chessboard will start moving along with the pawn piece on top.
After completing motion, the pawn piece will stop.
Press on Square “h1”.
Open the Square Off App, make sure bluetooth is turned ON and the internet is connected.
Firmware update process will begin.
After a successful firmware update you can proceed with game play.

priyal Thank you. But unfortunately this doesn’t work for me. What you wrote in Step 1 works fine but as I have noted elsewhere my board just vibrates, press a piece on a1 or h1 does nothing, the only movement comes from the vibration.

Same problem here. i put pawn on a1 and press. Nothing. Vibrates the pawn around. The machine vibrates but then put on h1 and no difference. Stuck in update

gregoryrutchik problem solved. It seems. The instructions of putting piece on a1 and pressing worked after turning on and off a few times but worked. Played first game
